I started playing with glass beads in 2005 with two of my sisters. We were taking care of our mom and started working with beads while we were together. We started out just making pieces for family members and friends. With the encouragement from them, we started displaying our jewelry at craft fairs in 2006.

Then I met a lady in Florida who introduced me to polymer clay and I was in love. She just made simple beads and she taught me to condition the clay and use a pasta maker (I knew that there had to be a use for that machine that didn’t entail the kitchen!) I have been playing ever since.

I have also taken a few classes to learn the stitches for woven jewelry which I also enjoy doing.
