Michele Gibbs—Soap Maker
Clay,NY

I started out making soap because I have always wanted my own business. My job as a regional manager of rental properties has given me a strong business background from which to draw on. The main reason I chose the Melt and Pour Method of soap making is because it does not require the use of lye. In addition, the shapes and styles that I can make are limited only by my imagination. For Melt and Pour soap makers like myself a lot of the heavy duty work is done before I begin so I can spend more time on the fine details of the finished product .

I wanted to make a high quality product so a lot of time was spent researching ingredients. As a result I have chosen specialty bases such as aloe vera, coco butter, goats milk, moisturizing glycerin and shea butter. Only the highest quality essential oils and fragrance oils are used along with other additives such as herbs, vegetable oils e.g. olive oil, oatmeal and lemongrass. These soaps may not last quite as long as a commercial soap but they are beautiful on the skin and kinder to your body.

I am sure that once you have used Perfect Scents Soap for yourself, you will want to use them always.
